NICK LAROVERE - LIGHTING TECHNICIAN

Though I largely do cinematography/camera work, more and more lately people have been seeing the lighting that I do and asking me to help them light their projects, as well.

Given that fact, I decided to put together a little portfolio of lighting work I’ve done.

I have been the gaffer for 2 feature films, as well as a bunch of short films and commercial / corporate projects. As a cinematographer, a lot of times I have created the lighting plan / design, and sometimes, though not always, implemented it myself. However, I am not going to add any of those projects to this portfolio, only projects that I was solely the gaffer for.

I very much enjoy lighting and helping your cinematography and story be a success. I try to work as efficiently as possible, balancing creative and practical needs to get things looking amazing without pushing the envelope on time.
